Innisfree | NO-SEBUM PRIMER

So like I said this is gonna be a make up post.  The reason why I keep posting about skincare is because I believe SKIN CARE and MAKE UP is closely link together.

I will explain this in other post tho...

OK Went to purchase 2 items from innisfree at JEM ! The No-sebum Primer and the compact powder.

Can I say I loveeee the No-sebum Powder from innisfree. Haha I mean ... it's good.

You can use this to set your base,  bake your face and it just gives you a really smooth and matte finish.

If you don't know what baking (not for food. For the face) is go FIND OUT  !!

Especially for people with Oily skinOr people who wants a Long-wearing matte, smooth and poreless finish. #lifechangingmakeuptechnique #nojoke

Basically you apply lightly adequate amount of powder, let it stays on your skin for AT LEAST ( meaning can be longer. It's better ) 5Mins, then continue doing the rest of your makeup. And let the natural heat of your skin warms up the concealer and foundation with the powder.

After,   you just dust off the excess powder with a brush and it will give you a really nice finish.

Preferably with a brush that has some kind of powder on it,  so that it will kick off the excess powder on your face more smoothly. It's optional tho.

I know it's not very glam but try not to judge.

Oh ya baking also gives you that highlighted effect btw

Before and after bake

Not the best comparison photo but you get the idea. It become smoother and matte.

Not a Check-in to show you how my skin is doing by now.  Just wanted to post at least a decent selfie After those pictures previously   Hahaha

The under eye and cheeks area take up quite a portion on the face so if there looks kinda flawless, it will give the impression that overall the whole face is too. In other words if you apply too much product around that area people can easily tell you're wearing make up.

In my sec 2 days , where I want absolute undetectable makeup look, but I often tend to apply a little too much and ended up Quite obvious that I'm wearing makeup.

Still remember that the school rules state that girls cant wear make up to school. LOL. But I'm a guy, even if it state ALL students can't wear Makeup...  But if you have the skills to put on natural undetectable makeup then I don't see why you can't, go ahead!

It's a talent and I think it should be recognized.

If you think putting on make up is hard???  I can tell you that putting on No-makeup makeup-look is even harder! Plz

Basically the loose n compact, is pretty much the same. The finish after I use it is the same.

But with the compact one I realised I tend to apply more heavy handed with my products, if you are like me , you know you will over use then get the loose powder one it's cheaper too anyway.

Now I'm using a brush to take up the products in the compact, it just doesn't take up as much powder as the sponge that comes together.

It's only the price and pakaging that's different (one got mirror one don't) .  And one is in compact form, the other is loose powder.

No-sebum compact - $17
No-sebum loose powder - $10

Okay NEXT

No-sebum PRIMER , $17.

I'll just get straight to the point. And share what I really think about this product.

What I expect out of this primer is that....  I want  this to fill in my pores,  blur out my bumps , make my makeup last all day long, stay matte all day and smoothen my skin as if I'm using filter for my face but in real life.

But obviously that's too much to ask for.

Looks similar to The Benefit's POREfession Primer.

FYI , I have not own ANY Benefit's product before. But I have try a tiny bit of tester at Sephora, therefore I can't compare with it. Maybe when I do, I will do a comparison post about it ;)

Blend effortlessly

One thing for sure this really give you that super super smooth skin. Not that your skin will LOOK smooth (abit only) but FEELS Really velvet smooth when you touch it

It does minimise the Pores but I just find that it's not enough.  Like I don't see a big difference. Got improvement but slightly.

Just one last thing before I conclude this post.

I always use the primer straight after I put on my moisturiser.  Previously Im using a zero oil Gel one so I don't notice much difference. But now I have change to a richer moisturiser, it will leave me with quite a dewy oily kind of finish.

This primer eliminate that oiliness off my face !

So when they claim no-sebum...THEY MEAN IT.

I just find it a pity that it doesn't stay matte for the whole day.  After 1-2 hours my T-zone will be oily again. Checks areas are fine tho.

I have like dry but oily skin. Thats like the worst combo ~_~ and to make things worst I also have mild sensitive skin. Fml

Anw this is not really a bad product but I just don't see a huge difference when I'm using. It lack the boost for me to find that it is really necessary..

Okay that's all for today's post

Future post will be much more interesting than this! Haha cos I've bought some interesting new stuff

Thanks for reading till the end. Haha it's quite a long post as I combined 2 product into one post. Byeeee!

Blackhead removal kit ?

I know I have only been posting all about skincare and no make up related stuff, but I will be ~ In the next blog post. For sure promise.

Anyways ( I LIKE TO USE ANYWAYS )

Long story short. It works !! But ONLY... after I've tried it for the 3rd time ya :)

I didnt do a rly important step the previous 2time !! That is to use a steam towel to open the pores !!! ( key point for using this product)

Originally I tot the softener ( 1st step, solution labeled as 1 ) is enough to allow the blackmask to pull out those blackheads... But apparently it's NOT enough ah haizz

1st try.

Damn disappointed la, rly expect a better result.

2nd try.

I refuse to accept the fact it's so lousy :/ So I try it again right after the first try. A little better, but still ah-uh. No.

3rd try. ( With Steam towel )

SEEEEEE !! Now this is a much more satisfying result right ? HAHAHA

I actually like how those blackheads are so evenly pulled out, not like only some part the blackheads is being extract out but some part don't. If u know what I mean.

4th try.

This is good cos u can rly customise the mask to the shape of the area u want to apply. Unlike Biore one, thr's some of the area it didn't rly cover so..... Haha

Previously, I've tried some other blackhead removal products too

KOSÉ one is similar as My scheming Blackmask.

I bought this for $30++  Don't rly think this works that well tho. The whitening effect I don't see any difference too.

But to be fair I've nvr tried this with a steam towel before maybe it will work amazingly ?? Idk.

Another one is this, Laneige Blackhead Melting gel. This I rmb the price is nearing $40 so definitely not cheap.

But it did worked out pretty good. And the main difference is, it won't leave u those ugly pore holes after u remove it. It melts ur blackhead NOT extract. So I Guess that's the beauty of this.

So My scheming black mask is a good one and so is the Laneige one . (Y) KOSÉ will be a pass for me. Biore is average.

Okay that's all I have for today hahah. Thank you for reading, byee !!

Review: Innisfree Forest Men Essence

Fml, Idk how but I accidentally deleted my almost done draft n my previous post.. Hiazz.. Life sucks :/ but hopefully things get better. May sucks!! Some stupid drama happened.

Guess I'll just have to start writing it from scratch again. But before that I'll blog abt...

   Innisfree Forest Men All-in-one Essence.

This is supposed to be convenient n easy to use! Cos they assume usually guys dont put skincare, and even if they do they wont spend too much effort i assume.

The diff is guys skin is normally more oily as compared to the girls.

So when a brand came out with a skincare series for MEN its most likely to be targeted at oily skin. So girls with oily skin can use too. But i strongly believe all skin care is unisex tho, i dont rly care for  men or not...

Its just to make the MEN using it feel more "manly" so they wont be afraid/shy when they go and buy/use. But i dont think there's anything WRONG with guys putting makeup/skincare. And people always make a big fuss abt it...

Judging and talking behind the back, its has always been like this for so many years. But i dont really care i just want to BE MYSELF !! If u dont like me then so be it

Come back.....hahaa

It's a combination of toner,lotion n Essence .

Usually moisturiser is the next step, to lock all the moisture in n let ur skin stay hydrated for a longer period.

But I'm using this alone n nth else after ( I use it like a moisturiser ) , and it's working fine.

Okay, let's be real

Skincare is smth PERSONAL.

You need to know the best skincare routine that works for u.

It's always good to not put too many diff type products on ur face actually ( especially sensitive skin , like me and it sucks ) , there's a LIMIT to how much product the skin can absorb. Not like the more u use it will be better, instead u might be applying more than what ur skin can take it. In the end, it's just a wasting of time, product and money :/

The innisfree lady told me that they don't have a moisturiser (forest men one) only have cleanser, toner, mist n what not. Ya n I found Army camoflage paint !! They actually know the one that army have is lao ya one. So they came out with one

<----- This

Other brand also have apparently. I still rmb when I'm young my dad let me put on my face for fun using his frm the army.. and the next day I had some pimples on my face how cool rite ( oily n hard to remove if i still rmb correctly )

A huge huge huge bonus when product comes in a PUMPP ~ !! I feel that pump is the most hygienic way of obtaining the product inside. The less exposure to the air the better !

I got issue with products tt u need to dip ur hand inside it. :X

Just a Long list of ingredients to check out for if u are sensitive to any of it.

Gel-like texture. It has this rly refreshing smell. The scent does somewhat reminds me of forest.

Close ur eyes while applying this. Take a deep breath, u will soon realised u are in a beautiful rainy forest ~~ (lies)
It won't be that magical of cos, but it does have a calming & relaxing scent. A healing scent if I were to describe it.

This bottle of product cost $40. (100ml)

Usually I empty my 50ml product in ard 1month. So ard $20 I'm paying for this a month so it's so-so ( in the long run lah )

I saved for quite some time before I buy this tho back then. But it's not bad so yea

For me toner is the final step for cleansing (after u wash ur face).

U pour the toner on a cotton pad and apply on ur face. This helps to exfoliate ur skin alittle n also remove some of the remaining dirt if there's any. ( That's what I want my toner to do for me. )

So I'm not sure if I am willing to accept that there's also a toner function in this All-in-one actually...

Ya I think I won't. But it's quite a good product . It would work better if its use with a moisturiser I think.. Anyway

Thanks for reading ~ (:

Guys wearing make up ???

Okay so for the post today, I know even up till now there are still a big number of ppl saying that...guy wearing make up ?!?! That is so ridiculious !! So faking gay ! Sissy chao ah gua...etc
And i dont know how does wearing makeup makes a guy gay (?) It's not like if a guy put on make up he will like the same sex or be girlyy... SO NOT TRUE
Nowadays, more and more guys are wearing makeup cos of the kpop influence. And also guys are being more vain & self conscious of their looks. so it's becoming quite common for guys to wear makeup alrd. There is even BB cream made specially for guys Hello ~

U think kpop get praise n envy by ppl for their flawless skin for nth ? It's effort of good skincare habit n make up Lor haha

Don't say u DONT care .  cos if u are buying new clothes,  dying/cutting or style ur hair, looking in the mirror to check on urself etc... All this shows that u care abt how u look. So  i dont think guy putting on makeup is evil... everyone wanted to be better looking rite and that include guys as well. Now guys wearing make up is very common like on youtube lot of guys that are doing their own make up tutorial chanel. I salute them for being so brave to work towards what they rly love  n have passion for actually.

But still not everyone can accept guys having makeup cause it is alrd a mindset that has been learnt that make up is gal stuff.
So i think ppl shlould be more opened minded and think out of the box. okay bye. Thanks for reading lol :)
